Business Area Wheels

In this segment we produce almost 23million steel wheels today for nearly any application: from the smallest wheelbarrow wheel to the heavy construction machine wheel, from the weight-optimized wheel for commercial vehicles up to the perfectly styled car wheel made from high-strength steel.

Some useful information about the wheel

The wheel rim serves as seat of the tyre, the wheel disc connects the rim with the wheel hub, and the wheel is the entire body, consisting of rim and disc. There is a great variety in formation of the wheel discs as we have to take into consideration not only design requirements regarding optimization (high load capacity along with low wheel weight) and axle connection, but also requests concerning the brake drum etc..
